Nachdem Jesus den ganzen Tag bis in die Nacht hinein geheilt hatte, wollte er sich in die Stille und Einsamkeit der Wüste zurückziehen, um zu seinem Vater zu beten. Doch die ersehnte Ruhe blieb ihm verwehrt. Eine Gestalt nach der anderen löste sich aus den Schatten der Felsen, als wäre sie unmittelbar aus der Dunkelheit geboren.
