Lismio is a platform for audiobook enthusiasts, allowing them to discover new audiobooks, create their own collections, and enjoy audiobooks on various platforms.
On which devices can I use Lismio?
Lismio is available as a web app and as a native app for Android and iOS. Both versions offer similar functionality, although we test new features in the web app before they make it into the native apps.
Is there a free version of the Lismio app?
Using the Lismio app is free. However, some content or features may depend on partner platforms that require separate subscriptions or purchases.
How can I create my own audiobook library?
Once you have registered, you can add audiobooks to your library, create collections and mark titles as 'listen later'. Everything is stored in your profile.
How does personalized recommendation work?
Based on your interactions—such as liking titles, creating collections, or listening to audiobooks—the algorithm learns your preferences and suggests suitable audiobooks.
Can I share collections?
Yes, you can make your self-created collections public and share them via a link. They will be visible to other users if you enable this option.
What are stages, and how do they work?
Stages are curated areas in the app created by Lismio or publishers. They showcase selections of audiobooks, collections, or series on specific topics or genres.
What are collections?
Collections are thematically grouped sets of audiobooks created by users, publishers, or Lismio. Users can create private collections and make them public or share them with friends if needed.
What are selections?
Selections offer filtering options to browse the entire Lismio catalogue by criteria like genre, mood, runtime, or release date. This feature is especially helpful for discovering new titles.
How can I find out where to listen to an audiobook?
Each audiobook includes shop links that direct you to platforms like Spotify, Audible, or other providers. Only shops available in your country are shown.
Can I change the app’s language?
Yes, in the web app, you can change the language at the bottom of the page. In the mobile apps, you can do this in your profile.
The app shows an error. What should I do?
First, check if you are using the latest version of the app. If the error persists, contact support at support@lismio.com.
What data is stored?
Lismio only stores data necessary for app usage, such as your audiobook library, preferences, and collections. All data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
How can I delete my account?
You can delete your account in the app’s settings. Alternatively, you can contact support for assistance.
What happens if I forget my password?
Click "Forgot your password" on the login page, enter your email address, and follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
