Alison Brachmeijer heeft het met haar geboortestad Daeledam helemaal gehad. Het mag voor de toeristen dan een schattig middeleeuws stadje zijn, maar de werkelijkheid is anders. Als Alison na een vakantie terugkomt uit Thailand, lijken de strubbelingen tussen twee families het kookpunt te hebben bereikt. Alisons krijgt te maken met wraak en manipulatie.
