Was tust du, wenn die ganze Nation dich plötzlich als First Lady will? Eine Liebeskomödie mit Gefühl, Humor und einem äußerst lebendigen Hummer. Jacky Wilson, freiheitsliebende Hummerzüchterin in Maine, ist stinksauer. Ausgerechnet bei ihr tritt der angehende Präsident Devon Hennelly auf und lässt sich von ihrem Lieblingshummer in den Finger zwicken.
