Rasmus Rasmussen, onderzoeksjournalist en misdaadschrijver, heeft een nieuw boek geschreven over zijn belevenissen in Denemarken. Wanneer het manuscript bij de uitgever ligt, wil hij vakantie vieren. Hij heeft een campertje gekocht om daarmee naar zijn oude studievrienden in Amsterdam te rijden. Vlakbij de Nederlandse grens krijgt hij echter pech.
