Annelie, 32 jaar, voldoet niet aan het ideaalbeeld van haar ouders. In plaats van het overnemen van het advocatenkantoor van haar vader, staakt ze haar studie. De laatste jaren werkt ze als postbezorger, heeft het naar haar zin en maakt van alles mee. Tijdens haar werk ontmoet ze Milo, wordt verliefd en met hem wil ze een mooie toekomst opbouwen.
