Leo möchte einmal einem richtigen Autorennen beiwohnen. Zusammen mit seiner Abenteuermaschine reist er in das Jahr 1926 zur AVUS nach Berlin. Aber die legendäre Rennstrecke existiert nicht, genauso wenig wie das Automobil. Kurzentschlossen reist Leo zurück ins Jahr 1879 zu Carl Benz, dem Erfinder des Automobils. Was Leo nicht weiß, jetzt nimmt sein Abenteuer erst richtig Fahrt auf. In mehreren Zeiten muss Leo die Fehler finden, zusammen mit Bertha Benz die erste Überlandfahrt meistern und am Ende mit dem legendären Rudolf Caracciola ein Hochgeschwindigkeits-Rennen gewinnen. Schnallt euch an, wenn Leo wieder die Menschheitsgeschichte rettet.
