Lars, der kleine Eisbär, trifft am Nordpol das kleine Rentier Oliver, das seine Herde verloren hat. Mit Hilfe des Moschusochsen Oskar begeben sich die drei auf die Suche und finden Olivers Mama und die Herde wieder. Die Rentiere müssen weiter zu ihren Winterweiden. Doch eine Pipeline und ein Drahtzaun versperren ihnen den Weg. Lars hat eine Idee, und mit Hilfe der Moschusochsen hilft er den Rentieren, doch noch ihre Reise nach Süden anzutreten.
