'The Invisible Man' (English: The Invisible Man) is a novel by the English writer Herbert Wells. Written in 1897. In his novel, Welles opposed the then-popular ideas of a superman who supposedly has the right to control weaker or less intelligent people and even destroy them. Mykola Ivanov and Dmytro Palamarchuk translated the novel into Ukrainian in 1977.
