'The Government Inspector' is a famous comedy in five acts by the Russian writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol. The year of writing is considered to be 1835. A young man who has checked into a Saratov hotel is mistakenly taken by local officials for an inspector and they try in every way to serve him. In fact, Khlestakov is a minor official from St. Petersburg, trying to live in luxury, but not having the means to do so. All the money sent to him father, he immediately skips. And then such an opportunity occurs: the officials themselves and with pleasure supply him with money. The young rogue quickly assessed the situation and began his fraudulent game, brilliantly described by Nikolai Gogol inthe unforgettable comedy 'The Government Inspector'.
