In the Scriptures we find many names for Jesus. Many of the names are descriptors that tell about who He is, what He has done, what He is doing and what He will do. Some of the names are clearly titles relating to the positions Jesus holds as God. Identifying these names and reflecting on them produces a clear sense of who Jesus is. By getting to know Jesus better we come to appreciate Him and to love Him even more. You may be surprised at how many Bible verses speak to the names of Jesus.
When reading in print it is easy to stop and think about something you have just read or even to go back and read it again. This can be a challenge in an audio book. I suggest that you might want to stop the recording and think about what you just heard or you may want to stop and look more closely at some of the verses.

Unless otherwise indicate the verses quoted are from the New International Version translation.
