Bendix Steensen ist in Panik. Seit Stunden ist sein neunjähriger Sohn Lewe nun schon allein im Haus der Großmutter in Nordfriesland. Draußen tobt ein Jahrhundertschneesturm, von Lewes Mutter und Oma weit und breit keine Spur und er, Bendix, sitzt in Heathrow am Flughafen fest. Nur das Telefon verbindet ihn mit seinem Sohn. Als Lewe verstört in den Hörer flüstert, dass jemand Fremdes im Haus ist, alarmiert Bendix die örtliche Polizei.
