What is Lismio?
Lismio is a platform for audiobook enthusiasts, allowing them to discover new audiobooks, create their own collections, and enjoy audiobooks on various platforms.
Is there a free version of the Lismio app?
Using the Lismio app is free. However, some content or features may depend on partner platforms that require separate subscriptions or purchases.
How does personalized recommendation work?
Based on your interactions—such as liking titles, creating collections, or listening to audiobooks—the algorithm learns your preferences and suggests suitable audiobooks.
What are stages, and how do they work?
Stages are curated areas in the app created by Lismio or publishers. They showcase selections of audiobooks, collections, or series on specific topics or genres.
What are selections?
Selections offer filtering options to browse the entire Lismio catalogue by criteria like genre, mood, runtime, or release date. This feature is especially helpful for discovering new titles.
Can I change the app's language?
Yes, you can change the language at the bottom of the page under "Language & Territory".
What data is stored?
Lismio only stores data necessary for app usage, such as your audiobook library, preferences, and collections. All data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
What happens if I forget my password?
Click "Forgot your password" on the login page, enter your email address, and follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
How can I create my own audiobook library?
Once you have registered, you can add audiobooks to your library, create collections and mark titles as 'listen later'. Everything is stored in your profile.
Can I share collections?
Yes, you can make your self-created collections public and share them via a link. They will be visible to other users if you enable this option.
What are collections?
Collections are thematically grouped sets of audiobooks created by users, publishers, or Lismio. Users can create private collections and make them public or share them with friends if needed.
How can I find out where to listen to an audiobook?
Each audiobook includes shop links that direct you to platforms like Spotify, Audible, or other providers. Only shops available in your country are shown.
How can I delete my account?
Logged-in users will find the option to delete their account at the bottom of their library.

Switch to the Web App

Why is the Lismio app being discontinued?
We want to offer you a consistent and future-proof experience – without restrictions due to app updates or platform differences. Our web app is flexible, works on all devices and will be regularly expanded in the future.
When will the Lismio app be discontinued?
The app will be deactivated at the end of September. From this point onwards, it will no longer be possible to use it. Please switch to the web app beforehand so that you can continue to use Lismio.
Can I continue to use Lismio as usual?
Yes! You can continue to use Lismio as normal – simply go to https://lismio.app/ in your browser. The functions remain the same: audiobook and audiodrama search, recommendations, wish lists and much more.
Do I need to register again?
No. If you already have an account, you can log in to the web app with your existing login details.
What will happen to my collections and favourites?
Your data will be retained. You can access your saved titles, collections and series as usual in the web app – nothing will be lost.
How do I access the web app?
Simply via your browser: https://lismio.app/ It is best to save it as a bookmark or place it on the home screen of your smartphone.
Can I use the web app on my mobile phone like an app?

Yes! You can save the web app to your smartphone's home screen. This way, it opens like an app.

Here's How:

  2. On iOS (Safari): Share icon → “Add to home screen”.
Will there be new features?
Yes! We are planning lots of new features and will soon be able to offer you a wider range of audiobooks and audiodramas.
