Aufgrund der großen Sommerhitze muss der Reitunterricht auf dem Martinshof ausfallen, da es für die Pferde zu heiß wird. Bibi und Tina kommen auf die Idee, mit den Ferienkindern stattdessen einen Kanuausflug zu unternehmen. Unterwegs kommt es jedoch zum Streit, und zwei Jungs bringen sich leichtsinnig in Gefahr.
