Mark Visser gaat tijdens de vakantie in Duitsland op een avond weg en komt niet terug. Voor Anneloes stort de wereld op dat moment in. Mark wordt voor het laatst in Oostenrijk gezien, maar daarna ontbreekt elk spoor van hem. Eenmaal thuis ontdekt Anneloes dat ze haar man minder goed kende dan ze dacht. Zijn vertrek blijkt allesbehalve een spontane actie te zijn, maar Anneloes moet verder. Noodgedwongen verkoopt ze hun huis.
