Ostberlin 1989. In einem Keller probt Die Seuche, eine Band, die Großes vorhat. Ihr einziger Fan ist zugleich ihr Manager. Äppstiehn tut, was er kann - und das ist nicht viel. Die Seuche spielt bei Familienfesten und Geburtstagsfeiern und lässt sich in Autoschiebereien am Rande der Prager Botschaft verwickeln. Doch gegen die Wende ist sogar Äppstiehn machtlos. Plötzlich spielt Musik keine Rolle mehr. Aber geht das überhaupt?
