Midwife Kim Osterholzer ushers listeners behind the doors of Amish homes as she recounts her adventures answering God's call to the craft of midwifery. Kim chronicles her nine-year apprenticeship grappling with the nuances and idiosyncrasies of homebirth. Very enjoyable! I wish U. S. women were more knowledgeable about our pregnancy and birthing resources. We would have far less c-sections if we allowed nature to take it's course. So many interventions cause deliveries to become emergencies unnecessarily. The doctors are making a lot of money at our significant costs, monetarily, physically, and emotionally.
