Alí Babà i els quaranta lladres is thetwenty-fourth release by label Marfer of a collection of tales for children. The collection had great success at the time of its release (mid-sixties) but the tales remain in full force at the present time because they are traditional timeless stories. They are excellent for children and very suitable for people who want to learn Catalan. Some believe that the story of Ali Baba was added to Thousand and One Nights Book by one of its European transcribers. Ali Baba's tale has been adapted many times for use by children and teens in all countries of the West.
