'Kashtanka' is a heartfelt story by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860–1904), included in the treasury of children's stories. This is a story about the devotion of a lost dog, which, despite the bad attitude of its owner, remained faithful to its owner. The film and cartoon of the same name, created based on the story by A.P. Chekhov, are also known. Chekhov Anton Pavlovich is the author of famous stories, the story 'A Boring Story', the plays 'The Cherry Orchard', 'The Bear' and 'Uncle Vanya', the book 'Sakhalin Island', as well as such works: 'The Husband', 'Carelessness', 'On foreign land', 'Surgery', 'Kashtanka', 'Women's happiness' and others. For more than a century, the works of A.P. Chekhov have conquered the world's theater stages: in terms of the number of plays he has performed, he is second only to the English playwright William Shakespeare.
