'Krachten bundelen' schreef Peter Holvoet-Hanssen reeds in zijn bekroond debuut (Dwangbuis van Houdini, 1998) en dit gebeurt hier op onnavolgbare wijze: samenwerkingen met andere dichters, met jong en oud, ziek en gezond - verzen (zoals in zijn stadsdichterstijd) feilloos gemixt tot fonkelingen in de duisternis.
